Nantucketlilypad.com was originally designed as a website to showcase my family’s home on Lily Street. We thought that giving it a web presence might be a good way to attract a new audience. After spending some time creating this online home for Lily Street, it occurred to me that I have more than 30 years of knowledge to share about Nantucket. Like a village historian, I am full of insider tips about the island, not to mention years of humorous stories of our many, many adventures there.

It is my goal to provide snappy posts that can help you plan your next trip by giving you ways to navigate the ferry or choose a terrific spot for a dinner reservation. Maybe you’ll learn something interesting about where to shop, ride your bike, or go to the beach. Perhaps, you’ll spend a few minutes now and then daydreaming about an upcoming trip. In essence, these snippets are an ode to summer memories and are meant to capture all that summer has meant to me for most of my life. Put your brain on autopilot as you live vicariously through the photos, stories, and videos of my family and friends, and imagine what your next Nantucket experience could be like.
